Getting Around

Getting around the county couldn't be easier. There are shuttle services that will pick you up and deliver you to and from regional airports. U.S. 64, 74, 19, 129, NC Spur 60, and NC 294, serves Cherokee County. These highways easily connect to I-40, I-75, and I-85. The Andrews-Murphy Airport, located in Andrews, serves Cherokee County. It is a lighted 5,500 foot runway and can accommodate corporate jets as well as other planes. Charter flights and sightseeing tours can be arranged. Tie-down and hanger space is available, as well as jet fuel and mechanic service.
